If you trade crypto across multiple coins and find yourself juggling spreadsheets and paper notes to track your cost basis, entries and exits, break-even prices and realized profits — this tool was built to replace all of that.
The Cryptobots.DEV Portfolio Tracker is a lightweight desktop application for Windows. It runs locally, stores your data in a JSON file on your machine, and fetches live prices from public APIs. No account registration, no cloud sync, no subscription.

What it does
The tracker is built around a simple but complete trade journal. For each cryptocurrency you hold, you log your buy positions with entry date, price, quantity and optional notes. The app then computes everything from that data automatically.
Per-coin statistics shown in real time:
- Current price and 24-hour change
- Total holdings and average buy price
- Invested amount and current value
- Unrealized P&L in USD and percentage
- Realized P&L from closed positions
- Break-even price — the exact price the asset needs to reach for you to be in profit
- How much additional capital would bring your break-even down to a +100% target
Portfolio-wide statistics (left panel):
- Total open capital deployed
- Total portfolio value at current prices
- Unrealized P&L across all positions
- Realized P&L from all closed trades
- All-time P&L in USD and percentage
The coin list is split into two sections — Active (positions with open trades) and History (fully closed coins) — with collapsible headers and a live search filter. A bar chart at the bottom of the right panel shows per-coin P&L at a glance.
Trade management
Each coin can hold multiple positions. You can:
- Add buy positions with a built-in trade dialog, including automatic P&L preview
- Close a position at a specified exit price and date — the app calculates and stores the realized P&L
- Edit any trade after the fact to correct entry data
- Delete individual trades
- Hide closed positions to focus only on open ones
The app fetches current prices automatically on launch and on demand via the Refresh button. Market cap, 24h volume and ATH are pulled from the same source and displayed in the coin header.
HTML Export
The export function generates a self-contained HTML report of your portfolio — with full styling, summary cards and per-coin trade tables — that opens directly in a browser. You can choose to export active positions only or the full portfolio including history.

The only meaningful restrictions are the 3-coin cap and the inability to load or switch between multiple portfolio JSON files. All calculation, export and trade management features are available in both tiers.

Technical notes
Price data is fetched from public market APIs — no API key is required. All portfolio data is stored locally in a JSON file that you control and can back up manually.
